Do you fancy something a little more special? Then why not choose an afternoon tea? Your guests can feel extra special with our vintage china & delicate homemade cakes. 


Our afternoon tea consists of sandwiches, scones, jam, west country clotted cream, a choice of 4 other cakes per person, as well as shortbread biscuits, cheese straws, macaroons and of course plenty of tea and coffee.

 

If you want a little bit more then make your afternoon tea in to a high tea and add a choice of two hot bites and a warm quiche for your guests. 
Afternoon Tea Sample Menu 

Freshly baked baker's bread sliced and made in to the following finger sandwiches.

Sliced roast sirloin of beef cooked pink with horseradish & rocket.
Free range egg mayonnaise with cracked black pepper & cress.
Wookey Hole cheddar, real ale chutney & watercress. 

Local strawberries in vintage cups. 
Cheese straws made with Quicke's Cheddar & served in jars.   

Soft & fluffy scones with strawberry jam & Cornish clotted cream. 

Mini chocolate & black cherry Gateau. 
Mini carrot & walnut cakes topped with cream cheese frosting. 
Mini lemon drizzle soaked with lemon syrup.  
Mini raspberry & fresh cream mille-feuille. 
Handmade coffee macarons filled with a coffee ganache. 
All butter shortbread biscuits. 

Endless amounts of  Miles tea & coffee served with jugs of milk & sugar cubes.

High Tea Sample Menu

Smoked salmon with lemon cream cheese & watercress.
Cucumber with English butter & cracked black pepper.

Soft & fluffy scones with strawberry jam & Cornish clotted cream. 
Sunblushed tomato & chilli scones with cream cheese & red onion marmalade. 

Mini quiches filled with Longman's cheddar, sauteed mushrooms & chives. 
Mini smoked haddock & leek fishcakes served with hollandaise. 
Mini Sausages filled with pomme puree & topped with balsamic onions.

Mini coffee & walnut sponge drizzled with espresso icing. 
Mini chocolate brownies. 
Fruit tartlets filled with creme pat & finished with redcurrant jelly. 
Bite size Victoria sponges filled with raspberry jam & butter icing. 
Handmade lemon macarons filled with a citrus ganache.
